The US operation owns and operates wind turbines, solar panels, hydropower plants, and energy storage facilities across 34 states with approximately 8205 MW of total generating capacity. Part of a global platform with over 120 years of operating experience and $100+ billion in assets under management, Brookfield Renewable US was previously known as Deriva Energy after acquiring Duke Energy’s unregulated commercial renewables portfolio in 2023 in a $1.05 billion transaction.
